The American Association of Professional Landmen invites you to attend the AAPL Oil & Gas Titles Workshop: Ownership Reports and Title Opinions, by Jon Love, on Friday, September 11, 2009, in Tulsa, OK. The event will be held at the Hilton Tulsa Southern Hills, 7900 S. Lewis Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74136.

The workshop is intended to give Landmen an analytical look at present manual and digital techniques and forms used to copy instruments of record, draft Ownership Reports from them, and write Drilling and Division Order Title Opinions obtaining documents.

This one-day workshop will begin with examples of both manual and digital summarizing or copying of instruments and suggested forms for doing so. It will then move to suggested instructions to brokers and attorneys and the form and content of a recent Drilling Title Opinion and a related Division Order Title Opinion.
