In the Directors book, they do show an item on the agenda for this matter, but it does not state whether it is for vote or discussion only (see AAPL Licensing Task Force report 08-13-08 and the Licensing Task Force Outline). Also attached is a memo with an opposing view (see Licensing Memorandum TX 9-9-08).
My position absent feedback from the TAPL membership is that the issue should be tabled until the AAPL membership at large is given an opportunity to voice their opinion. I also want to make the membership aware that the Dallas APL has a pro/con debate on its website at www.dapl.org. If I receive feedback by the TAPL membership strongly one way or another, I need to be that voice this weekend. I have already received input from two people. Thanks!
