Educational Luncheon - March 2021
Date/Time: March 4, 2021, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, CST
Please join TAPL for March's Virtual Education Luncheon! The event will feature Benjamin Holliday, the founder and principal at Holliday Energy Law Group in San Antonio, Texas! For more information about Ben, please see his Bio below.
Ben's presentation will provide an overview of Gas Flaring in Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Federal Lands. Gas Flaring has become a major topic at the Texas Railroad Commission, and with the change in Administrations, it’s likely going to increase in importance for any operation that includes federal lands.
To make educational credits available to our membership in a convenient manner during these challenging times, TAPL will host this event in a virtual format. It will be streamed via Zoom at no cost. When registering for the event, please be sure to include your current email address, as TAPL will use the registration details to coordinate Zoom invitations. Zoom can be downloaded for free online, but will not be necessary to view the presentation. All you will need is a phone or computer and access to the internet.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to any of the TAPL Board Members. We hope you can join us for this interesting and informative presentation.
Prior to founding Holliday Energy Law Group, Ben entered the oil and gas industry as a landman in South Texas before moving in-house to join the Barnett Shale Asset Team of a Midland-based E&P. With the decline of the Barnett and the rise of the Eagle Ford, Ben became the project leader in charge of an approximate 30,000 acre Eagle Ford asset in Karnes and Atascosa Counties, leading all title, leasing, and curative efforts within the prospect area. Since 2010, Ben has focused on representing exploration and production companies in their operations across the United States.
Ben is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the State Bar College, is a current Regional Director for the AAPL, a Past President of the San Antonio Association of Professional Landmen, a founding board member of South Texas Landman & Lawyer Clays Shoot, and is the Immediate Past President for the San Antonio Chapter of Entrepreneur’s Organization. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Ohio, and Illinois.
