Richard A. Grimes received a B.S. in Business from Oklahoma State University in 1974.  He received his JD in 1977 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Oklahoma Law Review.  He currently practices with the firm of Grimes, Anderson & Day in Edmond, Oklahoma.  His practice consists exclusively of representation of independent operators at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission; and, District Court litigation involving oil and gas related matters.  He is the Past President of the Oklahoma City Mineral Lawyers Association.
