TAPL will again host an Energy Forum for oil and gas professionals at the Petroleum Club, 6th & Boulder, Tulsa, OK, on Thursday, November 8th, 2007. We will meet on the 14th floor for the lunch buffet at 11:30. The Forum will begin at 1:00 pm and close around 5:00 pm.
Our Moderator will be Grant Black, Director of Governmental Affairs, Samson Resources Co., and guest speakers include: 1) Mohan Kelkar, University of Tulsa, with his excellent presentation on fuels for the future, 2) Tom Ostrye, Alternative Fuels Manager for Exterran will give an overview of natural gas as a vehicle fuel - CNG & LNG, 3) Richard Brewster with BP America will discuss their alternative fuels research and development and 4) Edmilson M. dos Santos, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, will speak on nuclear energy and ethanol. Invitations have also been extended to several distinguished guests, including Phillip H. “Pete” Stark, VP Industry Relations at IHS to discuss the growing conflict between energy security and climate change.
