TAPL Fall 2008 Golf Tournament and October Meeting – REGISTER NOW!

The Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen is pleased to announce that the Fall 2008 Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 13, 2008, at The Oaks Country Club in Tulsa. Please be advised that this event will be limited to TAPL members only and will be held in conjunction with our October monthly meeting, which will take place at The Oaks immediately following the golf tournament. The golf tournament format will be a four-man shamble.


If you have already identified one or more individuals with whom you would like to play, then one person in your "Group" must be designated as the "Team Captain". The Team Captain will be responsible for registering the entire Group at one time (including shirt sizes) and must select a payment method at the time of registration. Regardless of the payment method selected, we encourage all Team Captains to submit full payment for their entire Group, as this will be the only way to guarantee that the Group you have formed will end up playing together. Otherwise, remaining Group members may submit a check or credit card authorization for their entry fee to the TAPL Golf Chairman. Please be advised that the Group is not confirmed until all Group members have paid their entry fee prior to the tournament reaching capacity. However, failure of one (1) or more Group members to timely pay their entry fee does not prevent other members of the Group who have paid from playing in the tournament. In such an event, paid Group members will be placed with other partial Groups or individuals. A Group may consist of two (2), three (3), or four (4) members. Individual entries will be accepted and will be placed with partial Groups and/or other individuals. Teams will be formed in multiples of four (4) in order of paid registrations. In order to maintain an acceptable pace of play, the number of participants in the tournament will be limited. This tournament usually fills up quickly, so you are highly encouraged to complete the registration process as soon as possible. A waiting list will be established for paid registrations exceeding the limit.

Please note that all participants in the golf tournament must be current TAPL Members who have paid their annual dues for the 2008-2009 fiscal year. Any registered person in the golf tournament who has not met this obligation by September 12, 2008, will be removed from the tournament and replaced with the next available paid registration.
