Dear Members,

The 2016-17 TAPL year has begun, and I am honored to be serving as the President of our organization for the upcoming year. Most importantly, I am thankful to be serving on the board alongside such a diverse and experienced group that will certainly lead our organization through another successful year.

This year starts out with a flurry of events in September.  We have our beginning of the year Social at the Summit on the 12th, Education Luncheon on the 22nd followed up by our Annual Skeet Shoot on the 23rd.  All of these and future events would not be possible without the leadership of our current board of directors.  Please join in welcoming our 2016-17 Board of Directors:

Stephen McNamara, Jr.:  Past President

Michelle Farrell:  Vice President

Wink Kopczynski, III:  Secretary

Ryan Alonso:  Treasurer

Scott Hakel:  Membership Director

Michelle Linton:  Communications Director

Andy Matson:  Events Director

Debbie Bodenhamer:  Benefits Director

Adam Dolinsky:  Education Director

Shane Saunders:  External Affairs Director

Jeff Myers:  AAPL Director

I would like to thank our previous Board of Directors on another successful year.  Last year our association continued contributing to the endowment funds benefitting Energy Management scholarship recipients at both the University of Tulsa and the University of Oklahoma, were active philanthropically by donating to Toys For Tots and volunteering at the Community Food Bank.

At this time, I would like to thank our retiring board members:  Mike Knapp, Harriet Robinson, Jessica Campbell, Russ Hargrove, Collin Sniff and Hamel Reinmiller.  While we are losing some very valuable members of our group, I am certain that our new board will carry the torch to the same standard as the previous group.

As you can see, our association has a lot in store for our membership this month as well as the coming the year.  I hope everyone is as excited about these events as we are. I could not be more thankful to our volunteers and the sponsors who help make these events possible. If you are interested in becoming more involved in TAPL and its many committees, or if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me or the other members of our board.  I look forward to seeing everyone on September 12th.

Sincerely,

Andrew R. Grimm
