Kaiser-Francis Oil Company
Kleemeier is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Kaiser-Francis Oil Company. Kaiser-Francis is a privately owned independent exploration and production company with headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kaiser-Francis and it’s subsidiaries operate producing properties in thirteen states, and has production of approximately 200 million cubic feet of natural gas and petroleum liquid production of 5,000 barrels per day.
Mr. Kleemeier is also involved in the management of Excelerate Energy, which operates the world’s first offshore deep water port for LNG, located in the Gulf Of Mexico, approximately 116 miles south of Sabine Pass. Excelerate Energy is headquartered in the Woodlands, Texas and is owned By Kaiser-Francis Oil Company, and the Excelerate Energy management team.
Kleemeier’s background is petroleum engineering, having graduated with that degree from Texas A&M University in 1966. During the last fifteen years Mr. Kleemeier has developed and maintained an on going analysis and study of North American natural gas supply and demand, and has addressed his findings and conclusions on this subject to numerous groups; most notably the Independent Petroleum Association Of America, The Natural Gas Supply Association of America, The Oklahoma Corporation Commission, NARUC, TIPRO, The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, The Federal Energy Bar, and The United States Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee.
Kleemeier is the past Chairman of the Natural gas Committee and Current Chairman for the Independent Petroleum Association Of America. He is also a member of the Natural gas Council. Kleemeier is a native Texan, having grown up in Houston, but has resided in Oklahoma for the last 29 years and now considers himself an “OKIE”.
