The AAPL Board of Directors voted unanimously on December 7, 2008 to approve the following motion: “That AAPL not proceed to develop a licensing bill in Texas in the 2009 legislative session; but that AAPL continue to monitor the Texas legislature and maintain a defensive posture regarding action by others that would regulate or be detrimental to AAPL members.”
